Breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in women; in fact, my aunt died because of it. I have known people who are suffering from breast cancer, and I find them very strong despite the battles they face. It's not easy to experience this kind of disease. For us to understand at an early stage, we have to know this fact:

Signs and symptoms:
- Swelling of all or part of a breast (even if no lump is felt)
- Skin dimpling (sometimes looking like an orange peel)
- Breast or nipple pain.
- Nipple retraction (turning inward)
- Nipple or breast skin that is red, dry, flaking, or thickened
- Nipple discharge (other than breast milk)
- Keep your weight in check.
- Be physically active.
- Eat your fruits and vegetables, and limit alcohol (zero is best).
- Don't Smoke.
- Breastfeed, if possible.
- Avoid birth control pills, particularly after age 35 or if you smoke.
- Avoid hormone therapy for menopause.
- Tamoxifen and Raloxifene for Women at High Risk
