The funeral date of late Nollywood comedy actor John Okafor, well known as Mr. Ibu, has been revealed by his family.
This was stated in a declaration that Mr. Ibu's older brother, Elder Sunday Okafor, signed. According to Ibu's family, the late actor would be laid to rest on June 28, 2024, in his hometown of Eziokwe Amuri, in the Enugu State local government area of Nkanu West.
According to the announcement, a high-profile novelty match would kick off the burial ceremony on Tuesday, June 25. On Wednesday, June 26, there would be a "Mr. Ibu's Night" session that included live entertainment and a candlelight parade.
His compound in Eziokwe Amuri, Nkanu West LGA, will host a Christian wake on June 27. The funeral service will take place on June 28.
