The idea that music can have a powerful and sometimes addictive influence on people's emotions and behaviors is not new. Music can be a source of comfort, motivation, and even escape for many individuals. However, describing it as the "new age opioid" is a metaphorical comparison that suggests music has a similar numbing or addictive effect as opioids.

It's important to note that while music can be a powerful emotional and psychological influence, comparing it directly to opioids can be misleading. Opioids are highly addictive and can have severe physical and mental health consequences when misused. Music, on the other hand, is generally considered a healthy and beneficial form of expression and entertainment.

People may use music to cope with stress, anxiety, or difficult emotions, but this doesn't mean it has the same detrimental effects as opioids. It's crucial to use metaphors thoughtfully and avoid oversimplifications when discussing complex topics like the impact of music on human behavior and well-being.

Whenever I am doing something tasking, and I have a cool rap in the background, it os easy for me to pull through that thing. Music might not be opioid in working but I could say that music is food to the soul. There are times when music motivates a person to forge ahead with life goals. It also have calming effects on some people.

Life could feel depressing without music. Additionally, music is vital to our existence. In addition to inspiring us, lifting our spirits, and igniting the wildest dance parties, music offers some very real, scientific advantages for our health and general welfare. It has been demonstrated that listening to music enhances a variety of functions, including memory, healing, workout performance, and more.

It cannot be denied that music can move people. It does makes sense when some people are so fond attending to soap operas or music recitals and the like. In terms of using opiods, it is not a good thing to consume by people. But then, it can be used by patients who are in serious medical health conditions.
